Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager (Senior Living) to own search strategy for a portfolio of senior living clients. You will steer technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking narratives, acting as the strategic voice in client discussions.

You will manage technical SEO, on-page optimization, local and multi-location SEO, and reporting in GA4 and Search Console, collaborating with writers and AI for drafts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO audits and fixes.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• Agency experience across several clients simultaneously.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• SEO for multi-location or senior living is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Set keyword strategy and on-page optimization; coordinate with writers and AI drafts.
• Drive AI-assisted discovery for Google AI Overviews and other tools.
• Lead local search and multi-location SEO efforts as needed.
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly roadmaps.

As SEO Manager, Senior Living you own search for a book of senior living clients (senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
