Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer in Cape Town to deliver water and wastewater projects for the North Queensland and Northern Territory region, working with Australian project managers and the local team.

You will lead work packages, guide engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, schedule, and budget targets are met. This role emphasizes mentorship and professional growth in a global firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University.
• Senior Engineer Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA; 8+ years post-qualification experience.
• Engineer Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA; 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Preferably chartered or professional member of relevant body (CPEng/RPEQ).
• Experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects within consulting and design environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project work packages and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations to deliver quality solutions.
• Mentor developing professionals and junior engineers.
• Ensure delivery objectives on quality, schedule, and budget are met.
