AECOM seeks a Principal Water Infrastructure Engineer in Cape Town to lead and grow the local team while coordinating delivery of water and wastewater projects across Australia’s NQNT region. You will mentor staff, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety, quality, and client outcomes.

You will build capability, manage performance, and ensure alignment with project requirements, budgets, and schedules while developing cross-regional relationships for

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
• Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA.
• 12+ years of relevant experience after obtainment of Qualification.
• Chartered or professional member of a relevant professional body (or eligible for registration).
• Proven experience in water and/or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments.

• Lead and grow the Cape Town Water Infrastructure team.
• Coordinate delivery of engineering services across water/wastewater projects.
