Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our Townsville or Rockhampton offices. You will lead significant water projects, from concept through delivery, with a focus on design quality, schedule, and budget in a collaborative, regional-office setting.

You'll mentor engineers and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure for local and national clients, while enjoying flexible/hybrid work options and a supportive global

Qualifications

• Essential tertiary qualifications; RPEQ/CPEng highly regarded.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects.
• Interest in succession planning and long-term growth within a global firm.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction, including commercial aspects.
• Provide technical leadership with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, timely, budget-compliant outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and build relationships with clients across sectors.
