Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification or MBA is advantageous.
• 5–7 years warehouse management experience.
• 5+ years in a senior management or executive logistics role.
• Experience managing large warehouse and distribution operations.
• Experience managing national transport and distribution networks.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Advanced knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills; Power BI is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse optimisation.
• Proven track record leading organisational change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's logistics strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead warehousing, inventory, transport and distribution across multiple locations.
• Drive productivity, cost efficiency, service levels and operations performance.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock integrity with robust controls.
• Manage 3PLs, freight partners and transport contracts.
• Monitor OTIF delivery performance and report on KPI dashboards.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and adherence to policies.
• Develop warehouse layouts and capacity planning initiatives.
• Lead business continuity planning for logistics operations.
• Drive warehouse automation and WMS technology improvements.
• Prepare and manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build, coach and develop high-performing logistics teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Customer Experience and Service for seamless order fulfilment.
