Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a Warehouse Controller to ensure efficient warehouse operations, safe practices, and governance compliance at our distribution centre in Mthatha. You will own inbound/outbound logistics, drive KPI performance, and implement standard operating procedures in line with budgetary targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years' experience in warehouse/logistics operations preferred.
• Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office, Oasis, handheld devices) and SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to meet service levels.
• Manage safety, quality, and governance standards in the warehouse.
• Develop and monitor KPIs; drive continuous improvement using problem-solving tools.
• Control budgets and optimise operating costs; manage contractor/SLA compliance.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff, ensuring training and policy adherence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient stock and inventory management.
