Placements24 is seeking a Senior VFX Supervisor to lead the visual effects team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will oversee the creation and delivery of high-end VFX, collaborating with directors, producers, and editors to realize ambitious concepts.

You will mentor artists, manage pipelines from pre-production to final delivery, and ensure technical quality, artistic integrity, and on-time delivery across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in visual effects, with a proven track record as a VFX Supervisor or senior lead.
• Extensive knowledge of the full VFX pipeline, including CG, compositing, and simulation.
• Strong understanding of filmmaking principles and narrative storytelling.
• Experience managing large teams and complex VFX projects from conception to completion.
• Proficiency with industry-standard VFX software and pipeline tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
