Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement visually compelling special effects, including explosions, magic, environmental effects, and particle systems.
• Create and optimize VFX assets , ensuring they perform efficiently across target platforms.
• Work with game designers and programmers to integrate effects into gameplay and cinematics.
• Develop and maintain VFX pipelines and workflows to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the art director to define and maintain the visual style of effects.
• Provide technical and artistic guidance to junior VFX artists.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience creating visual effects for games or film.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Houdini, Maya, After Effects, and Unity/Unreal Engine VFX tools.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, fluid dynamics, and simulation techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, HLSL) is a plus.
• Excellent artistic eye and a strong sense of timing and motion.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
