Placements24 is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer in Mossel Bay to elevate the online shopping experience. You will lead user research, translate insights into wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces, and collaborate with product, development and marketing teams to optimize journeys.

You will craft user-centered designs, contribute to design systems, and stay current with ecommerce UX trends to drive engagement and conversions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience with a focus on e-commerce.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user research, wireframes, prototyping and visual design for digital products.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design, interaction design and usability best practices.
• Experience with front-end concepts and responsive design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
