The role requires a master's degree and 8+ years in urban design, with strong GIS/CAD and visualization skills. You will engage diverse stakeholders and translate visions into actionable design frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in urban design and planning practice.
• Proven experience in leading complex master planning projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in GIS software, CAD, and graphic visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp).
• Strong understanding of urban policy, sustainability principles, and South African planning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead master planning and urban design projects from concept to implementation phases.
• Conduct spatial analysis, site assessments, and feasibility studies for urban development proposals.
