Job summary

eXp World Holdings Inc. is hiring a Senior Staff Accountant for the UK, remote from South Africa, supporting UK finance during UK business hours. You will join a global, all-remote real estate platform and drive accurate month-end close and financial reporting.

The role requires UK GAAP knowledge, VAT compliance, and strong Excel skills, with 5+ years in accounting and a degree in Accounting or related field. US GAAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and GL close processes.
• English fluency with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and UK VAT; US GAAP a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and data processing ability.

Responsibilities

• Support UK month-end close with journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Process UK accounts payable/receivable, including supplier and agent payments.
• Assist with VAT returns and statutory compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and assist auditors.
