Remote Professionals Ltd. is seeking a Senior Client Accounting Manager to lead a portfolio of UK accounting clients from a remote-first setup. You will coordinate bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and year-end services, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction.

You will oversee onboarding, monitor workloads, coach team members, and maintain robust client records while aligning with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Qualificações

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Experience 3–5 years in accounting, bookkeeping, client services or account management within an accounting practice.
• Experience managing multiple client portfolios and deadlines.
• Experience coordinating accountants, bookkeepers or outsourced finance teams.
• Experience reviewing bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts or year-end accounts.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or CaseWare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence coordinating remote teams.
• Professional, proactive and service-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of UK accounting clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
• Conduct regular client meetings and provide clear progress updates.
• Respond promptly to client queries and monitor client satisfaction, retention, risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client activity records in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Coordinate the delivery of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts, year-end accounts and audit support services.
• Review completed work before submission to clients and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide feedback and corrections to team members, minimize errors and rework.
• Allocate work by capacity and deadlines, monitor progress and budgets.
• Communicate changes in priorities and deadlines to team members.
