The position emphasizes safe operations, timely deliveries, and professional client service. The ideal candidate will have a PDP, Code 14 license, and 7+ years of long-haul experience with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid PDP and Code 14 license are required.
• At least 7 years of proven truck driving experience, with long-haul focus.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong communication for reporting to dispatch and management.
• Must be physically fit for loading/unloading tasks.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for long-haul routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure proper securing.
• Maintain logs of hours, mileage, fuel, and deliveries.
• Communicate route progress and issues to dispatch.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide route efficiency feedback to dispatch.
• Maintain professional image at delivery points.
• Participate in occasional remote meetings and training.
