Placements24 is seeking a Senior Truck Driver for local and regional routes around Rustenburg, North West. The role is field-based with occasional remote coordination, offering hybrid work flexibility.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, 5+ years of truck driving experience, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. The position requires a valid Code 14 license and PDP, with knowledge of GPS navigation and electronic logbooks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Code 14 driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience as a truck driver on local or regional routes.
• Proven ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely and competently.
• Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and electronic logbooks.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely on designated routes in and around Rustenburg, North West, ZA.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly.
• Load and unload cargo, following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Deliver goods to customers on time and maintain professional conduct.
• Manage delivery schedules and routes for efficiency and compliance with hours of service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents.
• Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding status and issues.
• Participate in remote administrative tasks and team communications when required.
