Old Mutual is seeking a senior Trade Credit Underwriter to collaborate with the Business Development Office to drive profit and growth for assigned portfolios. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in general insurance.
• 5 – 8 years’ experience in Trade credit underwriting.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience leading a team of specialist underwriters.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Trade Finance na

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Development Office to drive profit and premium growth for assigned portfolios by executing the organisational business plans.
• Research competitor trends and recommend changes to pricing, policies and rating guides to support growth and customer retention.
• Underwrite new policies, monitor risk selection and pricing decisions at portfolio and account level, and produce reports on profit trends.
