This position is critical for ensuring optimal operating temperatures and reliability of sophisticated electronic devices and systems. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and validating thermal solutions, employing a combination of analytical methods, simulation tools, and experimental testing. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze thermal performance requirements for electronic components, PCBs, and complete systems.
• Develop and validate thermal models using CFD and FEA software to predict temperature distributions and heat flux.
• Design and optimize thermal management solutions, including heatsinks, fans, heat pipes, and liquid cooling systems.
• Collaborate with hardware design engineers to integrate thermal considerations early in the product development cycle.
• Conduct thermal testing and characterization of prototypes and final products.
• Interpret test results and simulation data to identify areas for improvement and resolve thermal issues.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and thermal analysis summaries.
• Stay updated on emerging thermal management technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in Heat Transfer or Thermal Sciences.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in thermal management design and analysis for electronics.
• Proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM, COMSOL Heat Transfer).
• Strong understanding of heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation).
