Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Systems Engineer to join our client in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will design, deploy and optimize core network architectures, leveraging IP networking, MPLS, DWDM and 5G Core to deliver scalable, reliable connectivity.

The role requires at least seven years of telecoms systems engineering experience, with strong TCP/IP, SIP, SS7, LTE and 5G NR expertise, plus leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in telecommunications systems engineering, design and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of telecom network architectures (IP networking, MPLS, DWDM, 5G Core).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
