Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in the Klerksdorp, North West region. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure delivery of complex telecom deployments.

The role requires 8–10 years in telecom project management, expertise in fibre, 4G/5G, and strong stakeholder engagement. A bachelor's in engineering or related field is expected; PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in managing complex, large-scale telecommunications projects from inception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including fibre optics, wireless (4G/5G), and fixed-line networks.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and project risks effectively.
• Experience working within the Klerksdorp or surrounding regions is a plus.
