Our client, a dynamic leader in the telecommunications sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Polokwane, Limpopo . This role is essential for driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecom initiatives, from network expansion to new technology deployments. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on scope, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end management of telecommunications projects, from initiation to closure. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, resource allocation, and timelines. Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, vendors, and stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance. Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off, status, and review meetings. Oversee the procurement of equipment and services required for project execution. Ensure successful handover of completed projects to operational teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on telecommunications projects. Proven experience managing large-scale network deployment, infrastructure upgrade, or technology implementation projects.
