The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field, 5+ years in network security within telecom environments, and hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field; CISSP/CompTIA Security+ preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in network security, telecom environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
• Incident response, forensics, and malware analysis.
• Excellent communication of security issues to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network security systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing forensic analysis and containment procedures.
• Implement and maintain security controls and configurations across the telecom network.
• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide security awareness training to staff and stay current with emerging cyber threats.
