Job summary

C3 Resource Investments (Pty) Ltd in Centurion, South Africa, seeks a Senior Structural Technical Draughtsman with Tekla Structures expertise to develop detailed 3D structural models, general arrangements and fabrication drawings for industrial gas cleaning, off-gas and process plant projects.

You will work closely with civil, structural, mechanical and process engineers, coordinating with other disciplines to produce accurate, constructible drawings and maintain drafting standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Draughting or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Minimum 8 years' structural draughting experience.
• Strong Tekla Structures – essential.
• Experience with structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings.
• Experience within industrial, process plant, gas cleaning or off-gas environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar design/model coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D structural models for industrial and process plant structures.
• Produce structural steel fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare general arrangement and structural layout drawings.
• Produce reinforcement schedules for civil structures.
• Assist with process plant and equipment layout development.
• Coordinate structures with mechanical equipment, piping, ducting and other disciplines.
• Update drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain drawing libraries and ensure compliance with company and industry drafting standards.
