Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in Gauteng is seeking a technically skilled Asset Management Engineer to set up, support and train staff on asset management processes and systems. You will work within the Asset Strategy, Asset Management unit at Megawatt Park to improve engineering workflows.

You will lead the development and maintenance of asset management processes and provide this expertise to clients, ensuring adherence to standards, safety and regulatory guidelines while contributing to technology

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification (NQF7)
• Experience with asset management tools and systems
• Ability to provide technical leadership and training

Responsibilities

• Develop asset management processes, tools and systems

Provide set up, support and training for asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems in accordance with asset management and engineering business processes and procedures. Department: Asset Strategy Business Unit: Asset Management Location: Megawatt Park (Gauteng)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
• Maintain the NTCSA asset management system
• Provide support on asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
• Provide training on asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
• Ensure adherence to asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems, standards and procedures
• Provides a technical consulting and investigating service for customers.
• Produces and integrates engineering solutions/ designs for asset creation at various stages in the project life cycle.
• Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practises and specifications for approval.
• Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluation.
• Provides input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
• Conducts discipline specific technology research into new technologies.
• Participates in national and international technical forums.
• Provides professional technical leadership for technologists in different disciplines.

4 Years Experience in asset management, asset management tools & systems, configuration, administration, support, and technology leadership.

Professional Registration Body

Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Professional Technologist.
