Job summary

Globescope is seeking a Senior Technician in Johannesburg to lead installations and maintenance of security systems including access control, CCTV, LPR, and automation. You will supervise on-site teams, perform fault finding, and ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in security system installations, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication. It is an on-site, full-time position with travel to various client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in access control, CCTV, and related security installations.
• Strong knowledge across access control, surveillance, automation, and networking.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage projects and guide junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, boom gates, LPR, garage and gate motors, and networking.
• Act as project leader on assigned jobs, coordinating resources and junior technicians.
• Conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Oversee quality assurance to meet company standards and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients to provide technical updates, training, and support.
• Prepare project reports and maintain installation/maintenance records.
• Ensure safety compliance on all worksites and manage timelines and budgets.

About the Role

installations and maintenance projects, including access control systems, CCTV, boom

Requirements
