Job summary

ARCS is seeking a driven Sales Leader to guide a technical sales team in South Africa. The role requires coaching, KPI governance and disciplined execution of sales fundamentals across territories.

You will steer strategic growth, budget planning and market development while maintaining customer relationships at executive levels. You will drive tendering, RFQ processes and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, finance and admin to secure revenue targets and margin goals.

Qualifications

• Honours or Master’s in chemistry/analytical science required.
• 3–5 years in formal sales management leadership.
• 5–10 years in technical sales with analytical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and coach the technical sales team to meet objectives.
• Manage KPIs, sales targets and performance expectations.
• Develop territory business plans to achieve quotas and growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and forecast updates.
• Build and maintain high-value strategic accounts and provide executive-level engagement.
