Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide a development team in Johannesburg. You will provide architectural direction, ensure design trade-offs are understood, and collaborate to resolve complex technical problems.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, maintainable software while improving velocity and business value. Strong experience with C#, Angular, ABP, .Net, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and MSSQL is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience, incl. 3+ years as a Technical Lead.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Domain-Driven Design, and Test-Driven Development
• Experience with Scrum software development methodologies
• Proficiency with C#, Angular, ABP, .Net, HTML5, CSS3, JS, MSSQL

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor their team to continuously improve code quality.
• Provide architectural and design direction and explain trade-offs to the team.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems
• Lead their team through technical issues and challenges
• Promote healthy code reviews to boost collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Foster collaboration and engagement within the team
• Ensure high-quality code is shipped and increase delivery velocity
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality
