Placements24 is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer in Pretoria to lead supply chain optimization initiatives. This hybrid role combines remote work with required on-site presence to analyze, redesign, and implement efficient logistics processes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, SCM or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management and operations engineering.
Extensive experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills.
Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze end-to-end supply chain for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
Develop and implement inventory, warehousing, and transportation optimization strategies.
Design and deploy new logistics systems and processes aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to improve service levels and reduce lead times.
