Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a globally recognized engineering firm operating remotely. You will lead design and analysis across commercial, residential, and industrial projects from a home office, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with project teams across time zones.

Qualifications include a Master's in Structural Engineering, Pr Eng or international equivalent, and 10+ years of progressive building experience with ETABS, SAP2000, RAM.

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or international equivalent is highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in the structural engineering of buildings.
• Extensive experience with advanced structural analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of a variety of building projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
• Develop complex structural models using advanced engineering software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System).
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with international building codes (Eurocodes, AISC, ACI) and client-specific requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff remotely.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, multidisciplinary engineers, and project managers through virtual platforms.
• Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering technology and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client's design processes and standards.
