Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Structural Engineer in Bloemfontein to lead design, analysis, and specification of structural elements across diverse projects. You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and site teams to deliver safe and compliant solutions. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural degree, is either Pr.

Eng. registered or eligible, and brings at least 5 years of experience with SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers for integrated designs.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installations and resolve issues.
• Ensure designs comply with national building codes and standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
