The ideal candidate has a Bachelor in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, at least 6 years experience, and proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of relevant design codes (e.g., SANS, Eurocode) and material properties.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure using relevant codes and standards.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure design integrity and constructability.
• Conduct site inspections to assess existing structures and provide engineering support during construction.
• Review shop drawings and respond to technical queries from contractors and fabricators.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural engineering design and materials.
