Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater is seeking a Strata Control specialist to support mining operations in the North West region. The role focuses on ensuring safety and quality by proactively addressing Strata Control challenges and assisting with policy updates and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates will have a COM Strata Control Certificate, Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science, and at least five years of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license and clear background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Clear credit record.
• Clear security screening record.
• Medically fit for the role.
• At least 5 years experience in related role.
• COM Strata Control Certificate.
• NQF National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.

Responsibilities

• Strata Control responsibilities and daily safety oversight with proactive management of Strata Control issues.
• Prepare and present information to management via reports.
• Provide guidance based on specialist knowledge—review workplace data and feedback.
