Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Senior SQL Server Developer to join a growing technology environment supporting business-critical operational systems. This hands-on role focuses on owning the database code, performance and reliability.

You will develop complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions and queries, optimise performance and work with Agile teams to deliver robust SQL Server solutions hosted on AWS RDS.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL Server database development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in writing efficient T-SQL, stored procedures, functions and complex queries.
• Experience with SSRS reporting and translating business requirements into database solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions and queries.
• Analyse and optimise existing SQL code for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Design, develop and maintain SSRS reports for governance and performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless application-to-database integration.
• Translate business requirements into robust SQL Server solutions and manage version control.
