Job summary

ATS Client in Pretoria is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to optimise performance of tax systems and build robust database solutions in a financial services environment. You will develop complex T-SQL queries, procedures and triggers and help design relational database architecture.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and 8-10 years SQL dev experience in a software environment.
• Experience with security sensitive data (beneficial).
• Ability to lead within a team and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
• Assist in relational DB design for new projects.
• Troubleshoot and optimise SQL objects and performance.
• Support production databases and monitor for issues.
• Collaborate with BAs to define scope and priorities.
• Contribute to SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Investigate and fix production issues and data requests.
