Job summary

HR Genie is helping Hartbeespoort's wedding and events venue fill a Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef role. The successful candidate will support the senior kitchen team, lead hot kitchen operations and ensure high standards during weddings, functions and events.

We seek an organised, reliable, hands-on chef with experience in busy, high-volume kitchens and with the ability to relocate to the Hartbeespoort area. Immediate start urged.

Qualifications

• Solid professional kitchen experience and hands-on approach.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef or equivalent level.
• Excellent hot kitchen skills in busy, high-volume environments.
• Willing to relocate to Hartbeespoort area.

Responsibilities

• Support senior kitchen team with the day-to-day operations.
• Lead hot kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Maintain food quality, presentation and portions.
• Assist with stock control, wastage management and hygiene.
• Guide junior kitchen staff.
