Job summary

Smart4 Cloud Limited is seeking a Solution Architect for a 12-month Hybrid role based in Sandton. The role requires banking sector experience and credit & crim clearance.

You will define and implement complex technology solutions, provide architectural guidance, and drive governance and strategic alignment across IT layers. You will lead architectural design efforts, assess feasibility and security, and mentor junior architects while collaborating with senior leadership to propel technology

Qualifications

• Banking experience is required.
• Credit & crim clearance is mandatory.
• Hybrid role based in Sandton, South Africa.
• Ability to define and implement complex technology solutions across architecture domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of advanced IT architectures aligned with business strategy.
• Define architectural principles, standards, and governance for scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business objectives into technology strategies.
• Conduct high-level solution assessments and architecture reviews for feasibility, security and efficiency.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies to enhance organisational agility and outcomes.
• Oversee complex system integrations ensuring interoperability across applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain architecture models and roadmaps for IT development and investment.
• Mentor junior architects and lead architecture working groups.
