Key Actions
Review, interpret, and respond to detailed Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capabilities.
Contribute to the strategic direction of technology investments by informing and supporting the development of the enterprise architecture, ensuring maximum value and return on technology spend.
Define and design technology solutions that align with the agreed enterprise architecture, supporting the business in achieving its strategic and operational objectives.
Develop, test, and implement technology solutions, providing clear reporting on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are deployed as expected and within agreed timelines.
Ensure all solution architectures align with enterprise architecture roadmaps and adhere to enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance.
Adhere to agreed initiative and project budgets.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification preferred in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architecture) considered advantageous.
Strong systems architecture knowledge, development background, and solid domain expertise with the ability to interpret detailed business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Experienced in working within enterprise architecture frameworks, adhering to standards, and ensuring alignment with architectural roadmaps and principles.
Skilled in identifying and managing complex system, infrastructure and project interdependencies, balancing competing demands, and delivering solutions within agreed budgets and timeframes.
Able to contribute strategically by presenting ideas to senior leadership, participating in strategy discussions if required, and reporting on key strategic initiatives.
Comfortable navigating complex challenges such as evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, organisational transformation and stakeholder expectations.
A self-starter who is outcomes driven, creative, technically strong, able to connect the dots across systems and business needs, and confident in making quick, informed decisions.
