Job summary

Indsafri is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer (Automation) to lead advanced test automation across enterprise platforms. You will design and implement robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing, and drive CI/CD integration.

You will mentor junior engineers, promote shift-left testing, and collaborate with developers, product owners and architects to raise quality standards across squads, delivering reliable software with measurable dashboards.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in Software Quality Engineering.
• Proven experience in automation testing in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in Agile delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainscalable automation frameworks (UI, API, and integration layers)
• Develop reusable automation assets (test scripts,utilities, and test data frameworks)
• Ensure automation coverageacross functional, regression, and non-functional testing
• Drive data-driven, parallel,and cross-platform test execution strategies
• Integrate automated testinginto CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, test cycles)
• Implement automated regression and smoke testingtriggered on code commits
• Provide visibility of test resultsthrough dashboards and reporting tools
• API & Microservices Testing
• Develop automated tests for RESTfulAPIs and microservices architectures
• Validate:
• Response payload structures (JSON/XML)
• Status codes and error handling
