Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an Intermediate Software Quality Engineer for a 3-6 month contract in Cape Town. You will design and implement test strategies for the entire team and lead automation efforts, scripting automated tests across backend and frontend.

The role requires proficiency in Java/JavaScript/Python, performance testing tools (JMeter/LoadRunner), and familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI) as well as Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation.
• Experience scripting automated tests at backend and frontend.
• Assist with support changes and improvements to the test automation framework.
• Mastery of performance testing tools like Apache JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and working with Docker and Kubernetes.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
