Job summary

Sabio Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of a Sabio application integrated with Genesys Cloud. This hands-on role focuses on delivering features from the roadmap with full-stack responsibility across UI, backend and integrations.

You will collaborate with the Genesys team to design and deploy new capabilities, improve performance and ensure safe deployments for customers, while maintaining quality through automated testing and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience as a hands-on developer.
• Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, APIs and cloud-hosted services.
• Commercial experience with Vue.js and React.js.
• Strong Node.js/Express/TypeScript development experience.
• Automated UI testing with Playwright and Jest.
• Experience with real-time features using sockets.
• Experience with Redis caching and AWS-based stacks.
• Proficient Git/GitHub workflows and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day technical development of the Sabio application and deliver features against the roadmap.
• Design, build, test and maintain full-stack features across UI, backend and integrations.
• Collaborate with Genesys Cloud team to integrate and roll out features.
• Drive release readiness, testing, and post-release support.
• Improve performance, reliability, maintainability and observability of the app.
• Plan versions with customers, manage risks and deployment continuity.
• Diagnose complex issues across UI, backend, real-time components and AWS.
