Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic global technology environment in Pretoria, South Africa. You will design, build and ship enterprise applications using Java and TypeScript, with Angular on the frontend and robust backend services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and TypeScript in full-stack development.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices and secure coding.
• Ability to own complex technical challenges and work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Influence on technical decisions and alignment across disciplines.
• Experience with containers and modern software engineering practices.
• Flexible working across remote and on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and enhance enterprise applications.
• Build full-stack solutions using Java, TypeScript and Angular.
• Work with Quarkus, GlassFish and related tech as applicable.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Use Git, Maven, Sonar, Jira, GitHub and GitHub Actions throughout the lifecycle.
• Build and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Engage with Azure and cloud-native technologies.
• Work with Oracle, PL/SQL databases and data security practices.
• Improve and automate development and release processes.
• Collaborate on AI-enabled engineering practices and guardrails.
