Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Experiences Team in Cape Town. You will help build foundational services and SDKs that power the product across platforms, bridging product and infrastructure and designing reliable APIs that improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Systems thinking and end-to-end design are essential.

• Strong collaboration with designers, marketers, and PMs.
• Preferred tech: Kotlin Multiplatform; prior GCP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing by refining abstractions.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and Kotlin-based jobs.
