Job summary

BVNK Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cards team and build a seamless card issuing and transaction platform bridging crypto and fiat. You will work on tokenization, data handling, and real-time settlement, delivering a scalable, secure solution across currencies.

You will mentor teammates, review code, and contribute to an autonomous squad-driven engineering culture while aligning with PCI compliance and cross-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably in FinTech or payments.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience designing APIs and building microservices architectures.
• Proficient with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend features for card-related platforms end-to-end.
• Build and maintain API services and microservices across squads.
• Ensure scalability, security, and PCI compliance in the card ecosystem.
• Mentor teammates, review code, and promote engineering standards.
• Collaborate on cross-team initiatives and drive quality improvements.
