Job summary

JVR Software in Johannesburg seeks an experienced software developer to design and maintain modern web applications. You will build dashboards and tools used across the business, integrating APIs with PostgreSQL databases while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

You will write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and deploy through DEV/TEST/Production. The role includes mentoring juniors and shaping development best practices within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and Matric (Grade 12).
• Minimum 5 years’ professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, SQL, PostgreSQL, Git/GitHub, REST APIs, automated testing and modern development practices.
