Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the technical direction of its core products in Paarl, on-site. You will collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, and development teams to translate strategy into scalable, reliable designs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a software architect role.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, large-scale software systems.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven), and system design.
• Proficiency with various programming languages and modern technology stacks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and articulate complex concepts clearly.
