RELX is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to shape and operate reliable, secure, and scalable platforms that support critical products and services. You will work with engineering, security, and platform teams to improve operational excellence, strengthen delivery pipelines, and reduce manual effort through automation.

Qualifications

• Equivalent practical experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a closely related role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead platform engineering initiatives, including internal developer platforms, self-service tooling, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Drive DevOps and DevSecOps practices, embedding automated security scanning, compliance checks, and secure-by-default configurations into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; use them to guide engineering priorities and reliability investments.
• Own incident management, including on-call leadership, incident response, and blameless postmortems.
• Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Automate operational workflows to reduce manual toil and improve system resilience.
• Architect and implement observability solutions to improve visibility and accelerate detection and resolution.
