Qualifications

• Equivalent practical experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a closely related role.
• Experience building internal tools, self-service infrastructure, or developer platforms.
• Hands-on DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
• Practical DevSecOps experience: security scanning, secrets management, and compliance automation in deployment pipelines.
• Solid networking, distributed systems, and Linux systems administration knowledge.
• Experience leading incident response and postmortems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes and Docker, and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead platform engineering initiatives, including internal developer platforms, self-service tooling, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Drive DevOps and DevSecOps practices, embedding automated security scanning and compliance into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to guide priorities and investments.
• Own incident management, including on-call leadership and postmortems.
• Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Automate operational workflows to reduce manual toil and improve resilience.
• Architect and implement observability solutions to improve visibility and speed up detection and resolution.
