The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or Construction Management qualification, 6+ years of site experience, strong leadership and drawing interpretation skills, and willingness to be based full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in site engineering and construction supervision.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration (e.g., ECSA) is advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and environmental policies on site.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors, site supervisors, and labor forces.
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Manage site logistics, including material procurement, storage, and equipment utilization.
• Identify and resolve on-site construction issues and conflicts promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, measurement books, and quality checks.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives.
