Job summary

impact.com is seeking a skilled engineer to own and evolve its Shopify integration, partnering across Apps, Web Pixels and platform extensions. You’ll influence how Shopify’s platform features are adopted within a large, scalable commerce partnership ecosystem.

You’ll report to the Engineering Manager, E-commerce Platform Integrations, work with Rails and other backends, and help merchants install, onboard, and operate Impact on Shopify with robust, privacy-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Built production Shopify Apps, integrations or platform extensions.
• Experience with Shopify ecosystem beyond storefronts.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth and Webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Own development and evolution of our Shopify integration including Apps, Web Pixels and extensions.
• Design secure OAuth flows and onboarding to minimize friction for merchants.
• Build and maintain Rails application connecting Shopify with Impact APIs.
• Design resilient webhook consumers and high-volume data pipelines.
• Monitor and improve production health of the Shopify integration.
