Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town seeks an experienced SharePoint Developer to lead InfoPath conversion projects and develop Power Apps within a Microsoft ecosystem. You will design, implement, and optimize solutions that modernize legacy SharePoint 2016 forms, integrate with Office 365 tools, and automate workflows.

The role requires strong SDLC experience, MOUS/MS certifications are advantageous, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• B-Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications will be advantageous (e.g., SharePoint, Power Platform, or Azure certifications)

Responsibilities

• InfoPath Conversion: analyse existing InfoPath applications in SharePoint 2016 and migrate to SharePoint Online.
• Power Apps Development: design and develop new Power Apps to replace legacy InfoPath forms.
• Workflow Automation: build and optimize workflows using Power Automate (Flow).
• Integration & Customization: customize Power Apps to integrate with Office 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and external data sources.
• Testing & Documentation: thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting; maintain deployment docs.
• User Training & Support: provide end-user training, support, and adoption promotion.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Technology, preferably in applications development.
• At least 3 years' experience in service-oriented solutions architecture/design within a Microsoft development environment
• Proven experience developing software solutions in a Microsoft ecosystem using Visual Studio .NET, C#.NET, Windows Workflow Foundation, SQL / SQL Reporting Services, SharePoint (2016 & Online)
• In-depth knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and development lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience in solution design, user experience architecture, workflow design, and data architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to manage application development projects through the full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Azure DevOps
• At least 5 years' experience as a SharePoint Developer.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Power Apps Developer.
