SkyeBiz, an MSSP client, is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager in Stellenbosch. The role combines operational leadership with hands-on expertise across endpoint, identity, email, network and Azure cloud security, reporting to senior stakeholders on security posture and improvements.

The successful candidate will manage security platforms, policies and incident response while coordinating with SOC, infrastructure teams and business units in a hybrid environment.

Formación

• Substantial experience in Security Operations or related leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Practical vulnerability management with Nessus.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity and Office 365.
• Knowledge of network detection technologies such as Vectra.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure security, IAM governance and PIM.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business risk and actions.
• Willingness to participate in a weekly standby roster.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day security operations and drive continuous improvement across endpoints, identity, email, network and Azure environments.
• Own security tooling, controls, policies, reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate activities across SOC, infrastructure teams, system owners and business units.
• Ensure incidents, vulnerabilities and compliance issues are addressed within service levels.
• Drive governance, security hardening and automation of repetitive processes.
• Produce security, risk, vulnerability, compliance and operational reports for stakeholders.
