Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients in a remote South Africa setting.

As an SDR, you will source ideal accounts, identify decision makers, craft personalized outreach, and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience with a quota.
• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar roles.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
